Be it to prepare for the entry exam to the bachelor degree courses, certify your English skills or dare to venture into new languages: the HWZ offers various courses in addition to the bachelor and master degree courses.

• You aim for a bachelor degree course, but don’t have a federal vocational Baccalaureate? The preparatory courses will boost you skills to the level of the vocational Baccalaureate: this will prepare you well for the entry exam to the bachelor degree course

• You would like to know about your English skills black-on-white? The “Test of English for International Communications” (TOEIC) shows how well you can communicate in everyday business English. Several thousand companies are already using this test as a reliable instrument to measure this particular skill. This TOEIC test is also open to external candidates. The TOEIC test is mandatory for bachelor degree students in the 6th semester and forms part of the foundation studies.

• You are seeking a new language challenge? Students without fear of non-European languages have the opportunity to study Chinese as an elective at the HWZ. The lessons will be held during off-hours and cover several levels of proficiency.
