Center for Financial Studies

The Center for Financial Studies focuses on the needs of the Banking & Finance industries and looks after the following disciplines:

• Investment Management (comprehensive asset allocation and multi-asset classes)
• Bank Management and Controlling
• Old-Age Provision and Financial Planning

The center is responsible for the undergraduate studies as well as continued education studies. We have a wide range of applied and business-oriented competences in these skills areas. Furthermore we are in a position to make use of a wide ranging scientific basis through our cooperation with the Steinbeis-Hochschule in Berlin. This also enables an applied and well based consulting activity through which we develop customer-oriented and implementable solutions.

The Steinbeis-Hochschule in Berlin
The private and officially recognized Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin (SHB) was founded in 1998 and offers professional and practical study programs with recognized diplomas to its students as well as to companies. It offers a range of diplomas, Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees right up to Doctorates. Currently more than 3,000 working students study at the SHB, making use of the Steinbeis’ own project-competence study concept.

The Center for Financial Studies employs around 30 lecturers who are actively supporting students who are keen to learn and willing to change. Our lecturers either have an academic background or are highly qualified specialists in the industry.
